How the winners will be selected:

Pro Shop Magazine and judges will review each entry to determine the Top 25 Golf Shops in Canada and each golf shop will receive a Pro Shop Prestige Award. The Awards will be presented to the Top 5 private golf clubs, Top 5 resort golf shops, Top 10 public golf courses and Top 5 off-course golf shops.

1. All information and answers are confidential and will not be published or released. The information received will only be used to judge the award winners.

2. One third of the entry’s score is based on revenue, the physical size of the shop, number of rounds played and number of operating days.

3. One third of the entry’s score is based on the layout, presentation, display, creativity and innovation. Submit a total of ten photos (minimum size 4 x 6) showing layout of the shop, hard good display, soft-good display, counter display, your creativity and innovation of space. Photos will not be returned and will become the property of Pro Shop Magazine. Please send printed photos. Do not send videotape, slides or disks.

4. In a typed written format, please answer the following questions about your golf shop.

- What were three important shop-management initiatives implemented in your shop this season (April 2006 – October 31, 2006)?
- Describe a specific challenge that came up this season and how your addressed it, the solution, results and outcome.
- Describe in detail two success stores from your shop this season
